Somehow that's a magical number for me =D I feel neither old nor young. Sort of caught in the middle, but in a much freer sense.
This is my second shot at serious blogging. My last blog ended last year on this date with an entry on Integrity. It lasted just over two years before I finally tore it down from MSN spaces :) This time will also be a personal blog, but there will be less emphasis on human development and more on my integrated interests: foreign languages, entrepreneurship, and technology. That's about as specific as it gets with me who has such general interests :)
...Well, I guess I can't miss blogging about the most important things in life - so those will be included too ^_^
I still intend to use vivid analogies and engaging storytelling, but I hope to be able to relate to my readers more this time and generate stimulating intellectual conversations - something I've been lusting after for a good while now XD
I ran across a very good insight on organization of information. Businesses do it quite efficiently and I have been failing rather miserably as I stare at all my digital files and stacks of paper that I lug around every term (that's a lot of terms: 3x5 = 15 times, plus the stack has only been growing). I made a goal earlier this term to convert all my papered notes into digital form, analyse it and synthesize it to produce very meaningful writing compositions.
In addition to blogging, I'm compiling albums. The first album is something I've been wanting to put together for a while now. It concerns my family's experience prior to immigrating to Canada in 1989. I will cover the Vietnam War briefly for context, the Cambodian Genocide, and the aftermath in the Thailand refugee camps. I posted a teaser splatter of photographs, which you can find here. The stories will have to come later as I keep on digging.
I will also be making more albums - simply because I love photography and storytelling :)
